A recent riverbank collapse in Padamyar Village, Shwedaung Township, has forced many families to abandon their homes and relocate
These villagers are now working to build a new settlement from the ground up, facing immense challenges in securing basic necessities and re-establishing their daily lives. This unexpected move has placed significant pressure on their limited resources.
To help ease their burden and show solidarity during this challenging time, we've provided essential household items to the affected community. Our donations included plastic water buckets, soap cups, regular cups, brushes, washing detergent, and soap for the villagers, along with a rice bag for the local monastery. These items aim to address some of their immediate needs as they navigate this difficult transition
.We hope these contributions provide some relief as these families rebuild their homes and community. While the recovery journey is just beginning, our support reflects a commitment to standing by those in need, helping them restore not just their homes, but also their hope for a better future. We believe that by working together, we can help these resilient villagers overcome adversity and build a stronger foundation for tomorrow.
